Setzer, of Jackson township, being the granddaughter of Peter Woodling, a native of Germany crossed the Atlantic and took up residence in Hamilton township. He married Mary Hoffner and they had 6 children. Peter the father of Sarah, Jacob died in Smithfield township, Andrew of Ohio, George of Hamilton township, Elizabeth, wife of George Miller and Sarah, wife of John Ritner, of MO Peter Woodling was born and reared in Hamilton township, he married Hannah Beishline, d/o Michael and Elizabeth (Edinger) Beishline, the former of Germany and the latter of Tannersville.Mrs. Setzer is the eldest child of the children born to this union, Simon, died age 2, Hannah, wife of James Warner, of Paradise township, Rebecca, of Reeders, William of Paradise, Peter of Paradise, married Euphemia Heller, Michael, of Appenzell, Jackson township and is married to Emma Gresge (note from me, do not change the name to Kresge, I'll explain it to you off the board), Amos of Reeders, and is married to Tillie Meakies, Susanna, wife of Aaron Handerlong of Bangor, Theodore, unmarried and Mary, deceased. Mrs. Sarah Setzer, born Aug 27, 1837, she married William Setzer, a son of George and Elizabeth (Sigline) Setzer. Children; Milton, born 1858, married Hannah Miller, and they lived in Carbon Co.; Calvin W. born 1860 he married Hattie Bloce; Alice S, wife of Edward Altemose, of Dunmore; Elmer Elsworth, married Maggie Mc Donald and lived in Dunmore; Elizabeth, married Milton Bonsor, and they lived in Denver.
