    3. Just a quick update. My father Franklin Woodring, son of Henry Woodring and Harriet Hinkle, died on Sep 28, 2003 after a long illness of lung cancer.     3. Sorry to hear about your father :( So much cancer in this world you would think we would have a cure by now. I lost my grandmother 2 years ago to brain cancer after a 2 year fight, then a few weeks later my husbands aunt (same thing) and then a friend of mine who was married with three kids (he was 38) a year ago. I will say a prayer tonight for your father and for your family. I live about 40 minutes above Wilkes Barre in Susquehanna County (Springville). Have you ever seen your Kemmerer spelled Kimmer?
