Tolhem, of Phila., John W., of Creston, Iowa; Mary died youn; Jennie married F.N. Christman, of Harrisburg; William who died in Williamsport. Samuel J., on Oct 31, 1868 married Laura B. Haller, of Shippensburg, who died Jan 16, 1875 and they had one child, Carrie, who marrid Frank Gates of Shippensburg. On Jan. 11, 1880 he married second to Sallie Diffenderfer, d/o John and Rebecca, and they had children; Roy D., Rebecca, and Samuel Jr. Rev. War Harris Abraham, NJ Line, applied at Salem Co., NJ Charles, PA Line, applied 1844 in Luzerne Co, aged 76. Soldier's brother William made aff'dt 1835 Luzerne Co.aged 64. Soldier was born 15 Feb 1765 in Orange Co., NY and at the age of 1 year moved to Wyoming Valley, PA., he lived there at enlistment. Jacob, NJ Line, soldier lived in Salem Co., NJ, applied in Ohio, srv as a surgeon in NJ Line John, wf Eleanor, DE and PA Lines, soldier died in 1803. A widow daughter Mary Smith Applied in 1850 in Cumberland Co., PA John, PA Line, applied 1818 in Lancaster Co, in 1820 he was 58 of Manor township. John, applied in 1820, enlisted at Chester Co. John, cancelled, PA Line, soldier died about 1807 at Harrisburg, he was never married Jonatha, wf Margaret, NC line, applied in TN aged 82, lived in Rowen Co., NC at enlistment, soldier was born in 1751 at Hopewell, NJ, soldier and widow had married Feb 1772 in Lancaster, PA Nicholas, NJ Line, applied 1835 at Phila., soldier was born 26 April 1760 at Salem Co., NJ. in 1818 moved to Phila, William, PA Line, soldier was born in Harrisburg, and he lived at Sunbury at enlistment Harris, Awry, grandfather, of Westchester, NY, lived to be 93. He married Nancy Avery. William H., was born in Westchester Co. NY., In March 1853 he moved to Benton, Lackawanna Co., PA., he married Elizabeth Sprauge, who was born in NJ, d/o John and Efie (Booth) Sprauge. Children. H., a native of Sus. Co., PA was born Oct 9, 1839. His father, Milton Harris, was born in Rhode Island Jan 28, 1796. On June 22, 1820 he married in Auburn towhship, married Sally F. Bennett, who was born in Chenango Co., NY and his wife Wealthy. 11 children born of this union, George A., Abbie, Sylvia, Abbie2, Bishop I., Paulina born 1831 married R. H. Birch, John born 1834, of Chicago. Revillo, born 1836 married Addie Lot; L. H., subject; Milton, born 1841, Gerana, born 1845 married C. L. Low. L. H. Harris, married in Auburn township April 21, 1867 to Mary O. "Setser" d/o John and Euphemia (McKean) Setser of Warren Co., NJ. The name of this family was originally speled Setzler, Mrs. Harris' father was born in Hamilton township, Monroe Co., PA of which his father, Henry was also a native and the former died Nov 23, 1890.
