Your great grandfather Cornelius Nihen is listed as buried in the Frenchtown cemetery. He died March 6, 1883 according to research done by Ed and Martha Mulligan. Several possibilities exist why you can't find the grave; subsidences have disturbed some of the graves and the stones were covered. Also many stones are now laying flat on the ground, covered by sod and leaves. I was able to find several by luck. Have you tried Kelayes or Immaculate Conception cemeteries? They're close by.
