Searching for information about Owen B Edwards, born 1819 in Glamorganshire Wales, served in Co H of the 81st PA in the Civil War, married to Hannah Jermyn - not sure if this was first or second marriage - also to a Sara. Children with Hannah were Winifred and Martha. Owen died in 1898, Carbon County. I'd really like to know who Owen's parents were and when he came to the US. I've heard illustrious stories about him, such as his being a writer in Wales and being in the White House when President Lincoln was shot. There is also a missing artifact from our family - a belt buckle with a bullet hole where Owen was shot in the Civil War - that I would greatly like to recover. Any assistance greatly appreciated.
