My great grandfather, Edward Wilhelm Freiberg, came to Hauto with his grand parents in 1894. With them on the ship was the Rohde family who were also going to Hauto. They may have been related. My aunt recently informed me that her mother, Bertha Freiberg Calkins, used to go to Hauto in the fifties to visit her cousin, Ida Gibson.
