    3. Hi, Thanks for the info. Here is what I know. And I'll have to make a call to see what else I can find out. I'll get back to you on the Calvin line. No obits on Solomon Steigerwalt. The obits I have are from Slatington News. If you have any that you need looked up from there let me know. I have quite a few years worth of CD's that I've purchased now. The Ben Salem clan is just far enough to not register in Slatington News unless, it was some freak killing or suicide or something, especially before 1900. The info on Charlotte Frantz is great. I didn't know any of that. I have corresponded with Dale. He is a great researcher. He doesn't have much Rex stuff but he's been able to help me with the Green/Greenzweig line. My grandmother had 3 half siblings. Her mother's first husband was a McFarland and 2 of her sisters married Greens (brothers) and so that family is inter-tangled with mine quite a bit. He's been a big help. The Sarah Rex that married Lewis Frantz, I have a Sarah Rex, born abt. 1851, daughter of Daniel Rex and Lucy Ann Fritzinger. I just checked what I had on them for census and this is interesting, see below. They lived in East Penn twp. near Ben Salem. I wonder if Lewis was a grandson not a nephew?? Or do you have more info on this? 1870 census: East Penn Twp., Carbon Co., PA pg 57a, house #79, family #82 Daniel Rex, 44, M, W, Farmer, $13,000, real estate, $800 personal estate Lucy A., 43, F, W, keeping house, Sarah A., 19, F, W Rufina, 17, F, W Moses, 14, M, W Aaron, 11, M, W Dennis, 7, M, W Tilghman, 4, M, W (lived next door to Daniel and Christina, parents) 1880 census: David REX Self M Male W 52 PA Laborer PA PA Lucy A. Do you have any obits" Charlotte Frantz was the daughter of Henry Frantz and Catherine Hahn. He was born 4/17/1753 to Henry Frantz and Susanna Girardin of Chestnut Hill, Northampton Co. He died 12/5/1835 at Ross Twp., Northampton Co., Catherine b. 5/18/1756 and died 4/18/1842 Ross twp. She was the daughter of Peter PhilipHahn 1715-1800 and Anna Engel Hauser 1756-1799. This is what I call the Monroe Co. Frantzes. They came from Diedendorf. The Lehigh and Buck Co. Frantzes came from Schalbach. We think they came from the same roots in Diedendorf. Your cousin, Donald is another story- I have four Calvins. The most likely was Calvin, the fifth child of Charles Frantz and Elizabeth Ziegenfuss ,no dates, he was the son of Lewis Frantz b. 1817- 1872 and Sarah Rex 1851- 1889. This Lewis was the son of Charles Carl Frantz and Mary Liechleckner. This Charles was the son of Jacob Frantz and Eliz. Andreas and would be also related to you. I don't have a Maggie Behler and Calvin Frantz but if you can give me more infor, I'll send you the other three Calvins. You are, it seems, related to two different Frantz lines. Have you been in touch with Dale Berger? He's a great berger researcher and also has Frantzes. I'll be he has Rex also. His email is - daleb@voicenet.com He has given me lots of Berger stuff but you would be better getting it from someone whose main line it is. He is helping us with our Frantz Dna Group trying to identify unknown Frantzes. He's a good researcher. I'll get to the rest of the list you sent me later. We're really cousins!
