In 1941 he was a soldier in World War II. He lived at 334 North 3rd Street, Lehighton, PA. He may have served in the Korean War as well. I have no other information, except I would estimate his birth year to be about 1924-5 and he may have been a casualty of war. Any info would be appreciated. I have a Mary Jane Zacharias, b 1849, to Charles and Carline Serfass Zacharias. Mary Jane is the older sister of my great-great-great grandmother Ebazina/Ebbethenia Zacharias. I have lots of information on Ebbathenia's decendants and some on her ancestors, but I don't have any other information on Mary Jane specifically though, so if this is one in the same you have provided me with information as to her marriage. I have several Catherine Zacharias' and John Serfass' so I can't say anything for sure on that one. Do you have any more information? Dates or children? I have a Polly Serfass who married Mary Jane and Ebathenia's brother Samuel Zacharias, and think Polly may be the daughter of your two, but I am unsure, especially with the number of Catherine Zacharias' and John Serfass'that I have. Dear Listers, I have a copy of the will of John Klotz of Carbon, then Northampton County, filed March 8, 1828, with a great deal of property and personal belongings listed. This will is at Northampton County Courthouse, will number 3910. In the listings of those who owed money to the estate James McDaniel of Carbon County then Northampton, is listed as owing $14.05. This James McDaniel was married to Lydia Klotz, unknown parentage. I think she is likely the daughter of this John Klotz, who is also possibly the father also of Christian Klotz who married Elizabeth McDaniel, James' sister. Others who had bills due to the estate are: Nicholas Foller to Daniel Oyster David Seller? to Joshua Kocher Jacob Weiss to Henry Hartman Thomas Weiss to Andrew Fritz Jacob Horner George Schadd to Jonathan Margerum Jacob Klotz Christian Miller to John Klotz and Christian Klotz. I have been unable to connect this Lydia Klotz who married James McDaniel to the John Klotz of this will. What I am hoping for is that someone can verify that this John Klotz is the father of Christian. With a will filed in 1828 I think this is likely Christian's father, as another will of a John Klotz which I don't have in my possession dated I believe 1843 is like John Jr., son of John in the above mentioned will. Any ideas on which John Klotz this will is for? Any thoughts appreciated. Judy
