The marker in the cemetery just says BABY CASTAGNA. I believe it to be my aunt Genevieve. They attended church in Coaldale PA at St. Mary's of the Assumption of which my mother graduated from High School in 1945. Thanks, I will contact the church to see what they can tell me.

If would depend what time period your ancestor died as to which cemetary they would be buried. The church, unfortunately does not usually respond to geneological queries, although that is where the reocrds are filed.

Samuel A., of Monroe Co., Andrew Eschenbach, his grandfather, spent the greater part of his fife near Phila.., and was living there during the Rev., in which his brother John took part. He engaged in lumbering and in manufacturing hand made shingles. When an old man he came to Tobyhanna township, Monroe Co., where died. His wife's bore the maiden name of Susan Fink, who survived him for some years. Children; David, John, Nathaniel, Andrew, Joseph, Thomas, Samuel, and Polly. Andrew Eschenbach, father of Samuel A., was born near Allentown, Northampton Co., when a young man came to Tobyhanna, married Lydia Bond, a native of Hamilton township, Monroe Co, d/o Lewis and Rachel Bond. She died in 1881, aged 73 and he (Andrew) died 1886 aged 83. Children; Samuel A., Ann, wife of Robert Warner, Marie died in childhood, Martha, the wife of Jacob Bonsor and Henry of Lackawanna County. Samuel A., was born at Tobyhanna, Sept 6, 1834, married at the M.E. His wife was a d/o George Wetzel, who served as a soldier of the Rev. Mrs. Catharine Erdell was the 2nd of a family of 3 children. Her brother, Francis R., married Amanda Frey, and they had two children, Edwin and Kay. Alexander, married Matilda Kerschner, and had one child, Harvey. Esterley, Gkancy Jones, of Salisbury township, was born Jan 17, 1859, in Exter township, Berks Co., s/o Henry A. and Emma Esterly. His father married Emma Quinter, d/o Samuel and Emma (Leaser) Quinter, who died age 64. Children; Glancy J., Jacob of REading, who married Ida Wayne, Howard F., of Reading, Lena, married Charles Hinkle and Katie, who married Wm. Hurd of Birdsboreo. The father of Henry, was George, a natve of Reading, and he married Sarah Rodenbush, of Leesport. Yarnell, Thomas and and Ann nee Hopson. (Dyberry township), s/o Peter and Elizabeth (Ward) Miller of Plainfield, PA., both died and were buried at Pittson, where his father was a blacksmith. His maternal grandfather was a native of America, but his maternal great-grandfather was a native of Germany. He was the eldest child and they only one who settled in Wayne Co. The other children, Elizabeth, Margaret Ann, Ann Margaret, Sarah, and Benjamin, all of whom died in Pittson. William married May 5, 1808 to Evalena, d/o William and Susannah Schnoover, who came from NJ. Children; Elizabeth M. (1824-82) who married Henry Palmer. Susannah S., died young.     3. George BEtz, married Rebecca Hummer, d/o Jacob and Rebecca (Freimeier) Hummer. George died in Mechanicsburg, Cumberland Co, in 1885, aged 73. His wife died died in Lewisberry, York Co., PA, aged 60 Jacob Hummer was a son of John George Hummer, born at New Holland, Lancaster Co. in 1758 and died at White Oak in 1854 aged 96. His wife Rebecca Freimeier, passed away in 1815, aged 38. One of their daughters, Catharine Hummer, married a nephew of Dr. Benjamin Rush of Phila. Dr. Israel H. Betz, son of George, was born in Penn township, Lancaster County, Dec 16, 1841. In 1869 Dr Betz marriedd Rebecca F. Weitzel, d/o John and Nancy (Fisher) Weitzel. John Weitzel, the paternal grandfather of Rebecca F., was of Dauphin County, and was survived by his widow, Christina (Marsh) Weitzel, who was born in 1777 and died 1850. She was buried at the Weitzel plot at Salem United Brethren Church, in Fishing Creek Valley. John Weitzel, father of Mrs. Dr. Betz, was one of the orignal members of Salem Church, and was also the first person to be buried in its cemetery, in 1844. Gottlieb Fisher, the maternal great-grand father of Mrs. Dr. Betz, was an early settler of Fishing Creek Valley in York County. From Gottlieb Fisher and his wife Ursula Fisher sprang a large number of descendants in the upper end of the county, many of whom to distant locations. PA " , Anna, 3, b. PA " , Joseph, 1, b. TX I am really trying to find an "Anna CARLIN (G)" who was married to Mathew HAYES, my g-grandfather about 1891. She died in St. Louis, MO in 1905 and left 4 children. Two of the children stayed in MO, with HAYES relatives and the other two went to PA to live with CARLIN relatives. In 1915 one of the two in MO dies and the obituary says to "copy Johnstown and Philadelphia, PA papers". I am trying to figure out who the girls were living with in PA. Any similarities? Thanks for your input.

    3. Walker-Lehigh County History David Z. Walker, of Allentown, s/o Richard Walker, former pastor of the 1st Presbyterian Church, in Allentown. Rev. Walker was born May 1812, died May 10, 1882. On April 1, 1842 he began work as pastor in Allentown. Later he preaced at Alburtis and at Catasauqua. He married Henritta Zellers, d/o Daniel Zellers (Reformed), she was born July 12, 1821, and died Aug. 4, 1903. Children; Richard of Allentown, Daniel Z., of Allentown, George W., of NY., and Annie E., married Rev. Wm. E. Marden, a Presbyterian minister of Troy, NY Daniel Z., in 1876 married Sarah S. Stump, Jonas, s/o John and Elizabeth (Bauscher) Stump, was born in Albany township, Aug 30, 1789, and died Oct. 1, 1857. He married Mary Brobst, born Dec 4, 1791 and died March 19, 1869. Both are buried at the New Jerusalem church.
