Kathy, I see two Blackwells in my file. One is-- Phoebe BLACKWELL b. 1836 in Hamden, Delaware County NY, d. 1921 Canton, Bradford County PA. She m. a James BOTHWELL. And the other, closer to the area of Carbon/Wayne-- (no given name found as of yet) -- _______ Blackwell married Cilah FISH, daughter of Susie BARTLESON b. 1828 PA and Peter FISH. Eight other children besides Cilah, and I don't see dates in my file. (Susie Bartleson was dau. of Peter Bartleson, b. May 5, 1792; died November 26, 1875 Lakeville, Wayne PA, and Hannah HARTFORD b. 1794.) I met online a Stella Blackwell, in the process of researching her husband's Blackwell/FISH connections. I don't have a way of contacting her now, but she may be on this or the Wayne county list periodically. You might check with Gloria at WCHS to see if she has had contact lately. hope it is of some help Holly Jagger
