Mike - Love the County Lists, and continue to read them even after I've gotten information I need for my searches. I read for historical tidbits on the area, the families, general information. At one time, I belonged to about 10 or 15 from several different states. Then there began the 'gateway' from the Message Boards. Often, messages were gatewaid that had no relevance to anything posted on the email list. It was frustrating because there was no thread to follow, and if it didn't pertain to my search or general information, these posts did nothing but fill up my mailbox. I unsubscribed to the Counties that practiced gatewaying. I love the Cameron County list, and the Centre County list and often learn something in each email. Although I still subscribe to Clearfield, there is very little that is new there. I think list activity may have a lot to do with the coordinator. Both you and Justin do a good job answering questions and giving suggestions, often including historical data that is helpful. I appreciate that and enjoy the information, even if it does not pertain to my search. Jan
