"Drifting is located in what is now Cooper Twp Clearfield County. Driftwood is in what is now Gibson Twp Cameron County. Cameron was created March 29th 1860. Gibson Twp was taken from Clearfield County to help makeup Cameron County. Driftwood is about 22 miles north of Drifting as the crow flies Jim in ClearfieldCounty" Regards, Jan
