    3. Hi Laura, My information/interest is on Elice Barrett Haynes, Sr. (b. 3/29/1898 in Gardeau, PA; d. 8/4/1974 in Custer, Whatcom County, WA) - a son of Walter Haynes (b. 3/1852) and Rachel ______Haynes (b. 7/1857). Elice had at least one brother: Chester Haynes (b. 12/1882 - probably in Norwich Township, McKean County, PA). Chester's family remained in Cameron-Potter-McKean Counties in the Gardeau/Keating Summit, PA areas. His line is being researched by his great grand-daughter Margaret Crosby from Port Allegany, PA. Elice (known to all as Barrett) married Arvilla Marie Cox (b. 7/15/1907 in Osceola Mills, PA; d. 12/25/1979 in Custer, Whatcom County, WA) on 1/1/1929. They had 12 children - all of whom are still living! They lived the first 25 years of their married life on Rock City Road outside Olean, NY and relocated in the mid 1950's to Custer, WA (north of Seattle) when Barrett accepted a transfer with Socony Vacuum Oil for whom he worked. Arvilla was a daughter of Charles Cox and Rosie Elmira Extrom and a sister to my father Jack Cox. Any connection to your Hayneses?
