Mona: Not a problem. Everything that I have access to is on the Pierce County website at www.rootsweb.com/~wipierce. Another excellent resource is the UW-River Falls Archives in the Chalmer Davee library in River Falls, WI. Their address is on the above website under "Resources and Lookups". They have all the early newspapers (am still waiting for them to reproduce some on microfilm and send to me so that I can start placing obits and local gossip online, they said the waiting list is long). Also on the website are all the early histories of the county beginning with the first in 1857, all known cemetery tombstone transcriptions, all the federal census materials from 1840 to 1920 (several indexed), some of the state census records beginning in 1855, WWI servicemen, Civil War rosters, some plat map info, all the pre-1907 birth, death and marriage indexes, etc. What names are your researching? I have been hosting and posting materials since 1997 and have become familiar with many of the names in the area. When I get them rounded up, would you be a peach and help me find more about them or point me in the right place(s) to look? Thanks.
