    1. [PA-CAMERON] HAINES/HAINS
    2. Hello, I am new to the list, and am searching for information on my GG grandmother. Her name as I have it was Hettie Naomi Hains, born in Emporium on Oct. 7, 1853. She married Daniel Burns. According to the LDS site, they were married July 6, 1870. At some point they moved to Austin,Potter Co., Pa. There was a flood, and it is said that Hettie lost family members in that flood. They built a raft, and put their family and belongings on that raft, and went down the Susquehanna river to Lancaster Co. Pa. Daniel Burns was from Lancaster Co. originally. That is about sum total of what I know of Hetty/Hettie Hains. I am not sure if the spelling was Hains or Haines. I have also seen the nickname of Hetty for the name Esther. Hetty's oldest grandchild was named Esther, so there could be a clue there. The children's names were: Beckie Lowella (Rebecca was Daniel's mother's name) Elizabeth Maude (my g. grandmother) Harry Daniel (no Harry's on Daniel's family line, so perhaps is a clue) Minnie Bell Does any of this ring a bell for anyone? Hetty is one of my tallest brick walls. Hoping to hear from someone. Yvonne
