Thank You Everyone, Anyone have Cabin Fever, Yet? Your compliments about the birth records are appreciated. Some of you are aware of my accident in which I got my fingers on my right hand chewed up in a snow blower last year. I want to Thank many of you for your Concerns and Prayers, While I have been recuperating. Your concern has meant so much to me and my family. We maybe spread all over this Blessed Land of the United States of America... But We all have something in common... Our ties to Cameron County, PA via our families. These common ties are still what makes us a family, It Does not matter Who or Where we are. I may have purchased the copies of the birth records to transcribe. My son, William, and I did the best that we could to decipher the information. It still would not have been possible to correct and collect the additional information if it were not for everyone taking time for all of the other projects... Books of Tombstone Inscriptions and Burial Plots of Cameron and Elk Counties, (by Sarah & Iris Caskey) and Clinton County by the Clinton County Clinton County Genealogical Society, along with The Halenbake Ross Library in Lock Haven, who took the time & care keeping family Index cards relating to Newspaper Articles) the Census records, (in which: Mary Ellen Smith did a fantastic job transcribing.), marriage records, (by: Don Hefright) obits (also by: Don Hefright & others), family files (from most of us), files and documents contributed from all of us (Cathy, Dee, Dianne, Helen, Pam, Randy,... and many, Many, MANY!!! Others, Thank You, for just being you.) A Special ! Thank You to: Mike Wennin, for putting up with numerous reports that I have sent to him in the wrong format (RTF ???) and also the wealth of other information that is available on "OUR" site because of Mikes and others diligent work. Last Month on January 5th, I had additional corrective hand surgery. I hope to be able to use both hands and what remains of my fingers on my right hand again by this Spring. (Just in case anyone was wondering how I found the time to get anything done and why I have not been in contact some of you for a long time.)
