Yvonne E. Conway, 59, of Harrisburg, passed away, surrounded by her family, on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at Carolyn Croxton Slane Residence. Yvonne was born in Altoona and was the daughter of Sally Panek Lassak of Lilly, Pa., Cambria County, and the late Frank Lassak. She was currently employed by Interstate Tax Service as an Employer Tax Auditor. She retired in 2007 from State employment, after 35 years of service with the Dept. of Labor and Industry. She was a member of Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church. In addition to her Mother, Yvonne is survived by her Husband of 29 years, William E. Conway; one Son, Randy Conway of Swatara Twp.; Numerous Grandchildren and Great-grandchildren; four Sisters, Jeanie Davis of Altoona, Jackie Lingafelt of Lilly, Elaine Scanlon of Virginia Beach, Va. and Sharon Ferguson of Leitchfield, Ky; and one Brother, Frank "Fran" Lassak of Sequim, Washington State. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, February 18, at Holy Name of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, 6150 Allentown Blvd., Harrisburg. The Very Reverend E. J. Quinlan, will be the Celebrant. Entombment will be in Resurrection Cemetery, Harrisburg. A Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 17, from 6-8 P.M., at the Hoover Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 6011 Linglestown Rd., Harrisburg, and on Monday, from 10-11A.M., at the church, prior to the Mass.
