Born Nov. 7, 1919, in Johnstown, daughter of John and Mary (Zvolinsky) Demko. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Daniel S. Luther; daughter, Janet Bond; and brother, Robert Demko. Survived by loving daughters, Marion, married to Dr. Jack Steele, Arizona; and Ruth Luther, Johnstown. Also survived by grandchildren, Curtis and Douglas Gadow; Danielle (Lambert), married to Eric Buettner; and Torrey Lambert; and great-grandchildren, Zachary and Garrett Gadow; Ruby and Delia Gadow; and Andrew, Elizabeth and Allison Buettner. Sister of Albert Demko, South Fork; and sister-in-law, Mary Luther, Johnstown. Member of St. Therese Catholic Church, where she belonged to the Christian Mothers. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Francis G. Ozog Funeral Home Inc., Broad Street. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Therese Catholic Church, the Rev. Bernard Karmonocky, OFM. Interment, Grandview Cemetery.
John I found that Daniel Luther's parents were Mary b. abt 1887 in Czechoslavakia and immigrated in 1903 and John Luther b. abt 1882 in PA. Their parents were born in Czechoslavakia.
