    1. Re: [PACAMBRI] James and Sara Anna Nagle McMullen--Golden Wedding
    2. I have their marriage date as 25 August 1857 in Carrolltown. PA Wife was Sarah Anne Nagle, daughter of John and Bridget (Barnical) Nagle. James was the son of John and Catherine McMullen. [Didn't give dates or church.] Their attendants were two grandchildren, Philip McMullen and Miss Mary McMullen. The original attendants were Ellias Barnicle and Margaret McMullen, sister of the groom. They were married in Carrolltown [at St. Benedict's RC Church.] Mr. McMullen was born in Huntington County, and his wife, Sara Anna Nagle, was born in Carroll Township. They resided in Chest Springs until 1860, then moved to Elder Township. [Probably Swedetown or Stirling #10 along old Rt. 36 towards Westover, now Miller Street.] They are the parents of: Marcellus, Joseph, Sara, wife of George Baker; and Helena, wife of Philip Gray, Carrolltown. There are 29 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. I am sure that many of you can fill in more information. The newspapers didn't give all the data and mostly didn't even give the name of the wife. 3. Thanks for the information. I meant to look up the date of the wedding. Did they have more children who died?
