    3. I posted the question for Mary and Jim, but I think there may be others interested who can answer my questions or find answers to their own. I posted the article for you, Mary. However, second reason, I have questions. It says Charles Miller OF SPANGLER, but says Isidore ON THE HOMESTEAD. Where is the homestead and did Isidore inherit it? It also says the "Charles Miller Farm." Are they one and the same? Has Sylvester retired and has Amandus inherited /purchased Sylvester's farm? It adjoins the Fritz farm of Sara Jane's brother, Hiram. I assumed it was a Fritz possession and they was why Sylvester, married to Sara Jane, farmed it. Am I wrong? Was it a Miller farm? Could I please have the names of the wives and husbands of the children? And siblings? Also the maiden name of Harry's wife, Theresa? Who is A.A. Miller? I think it said he was a blacksmith. It isn't in this obit, but I saw the name connected to his family. In 1850 Census the Fritz farm is in Carroll Township. The present farm, located at the turn off the Barnesboro -- Hastings road, at the turn called Fritz's Corner, is in Susquehanna Township. It would have been in Carroll only at the very first, when there were only three townships in Cambria. Or else the Fritz family moved. Do you by any chance have a family tree of the Eck family? One from Hastings married a Collins. There is the Eck House with a historical plaque on the first house at the main stoplight in Carrolltown. Another Eck is married to a Buck. And somehow the family is related to the Geus family--that connection is one I wish to know about. It is Philip Geus who ran the Nicktown Hotel till he moved to Hastings. I know how the Geus and Houck's are connected, but not the Geus and Ecks. My grandfather's brother-in-law, John Geus is married to Ambrose Feighner's sister, Anna. After John Geus died, Anna lived with two of his unmarried sister at their Geus home across from the St. Bernard's cemetery.
