Barnesboro Star, [Now Northern Cambria] Thursday, June 22, 1922. CHARLES MILLER, FORMERLY OF SPANGLER, DIES FRIDAY Charles Miller of Spangler died last Friday. He was born Mary 22, 1846, in Susquehanna Township. He married Rose Bagley in at St. Benedict's Catholic Church in Carrolltown on June 5, 1866. She died last summer in 1921. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Catherine Luther, Patton, who is now critically ill: Mrs. Magdelene Dunlap of Carrolltown, wife of Charles W. Dunlap. They celebrated their Golden Wedding in May 13, 1915, and he died on June 11, 1917. Mrs. Martha Wyland, Spangler: Augustine, Chest Springs: Henry J., Altoona: Mrs. John D. Lantzy, Spangler: and Mrs. Lucinda Eck, of Hastings. He is also survived by the following children: Mrs. Lucinda Riordon, wife of Mr. P. Riordan, of Cymbria Mines [with children Rosalie, Ida, Ethyle, Vess, Daniel]: Isadore, married to Vera, on the Miller Homestead: Sylvester, married to Sara Jane Fritz, of Cymbria [directly across from the Gold Course, beside Fritz's corner]: Amandus, who occupies the Charles Miller Farm; Pius, of Barnesboro; Mrs David Tovey, of Cymbria [with daughters Lillian and Hilda]: Mrs. John Vogel of Johnstown: Mrs. Albert Dowey, of Spangler: and Mrs. A. J. Lehmier, of Barr township [with son Charlie.] The Funeral Mass was said at St Patrick's Church in Spangler, and interment was at St Benedict's, Carrolltown Marilyn Kline Washington
