Mullen Died in Summerhill township on Monday, April 24, 1876, Mrs. Margaret Mullen, relict of Bernard Mullen, deceased, aged about 64 years. [the age is smudged but it looks like 64 years] Mrs. Mullen was born in County Longford, Ireland and came to this country about fifty years ago, during most of which time she resided in this county. Her long and eventful life was brought with many troubles but the least of which was the paralyzation of her husband some thirty years ago and the consequent devolving upon herself of the duty of providing for the wants of the family. She was a devout member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed the esteem of all who knew her.
