TABBS John C. Tabbs, who engaged in the trucking business here for forty years with the firm bearing his name at 1,270 Broadway, died on Tuesday at the home of his sister, Mrs. Emma Merritt, at 513 McDonough Street, Brooklyn, at the age of 72. He was a member of the Downtown Tammany Club, and was one of the charter members of the Old Mill Yacht Club, Jamaica Bay.
