Patriot-News, Harrisburg, PA, Sunday, March 30, 2008, pB6 Richard A. Vochek Richard A. Vochek, 61, of Mechanicsburg and Collegeville, died at Paoli Memorial Hospital on March 27, 2008. Mr. Vochek was born on July 2, 1946 in Portage, PA, a son of the last Jacob John and Rhea (McClellan) Vochek. Mr. Vochek attended Portage Area High School and received both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Labor Relation from St. Francis Loretto College. He served in U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970, including time in Vietnam and attaining the rank of Sergeant. Mr. Vochek was employed for many years by the Commonwealth of PA. He was a member of the NRA (National Rifle Association), and enjoyed flying a helicopter and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife, Bernadine (Praczek) West; his son, Ian West of Baltimore; and 2 brothers, Joseph Vochek (Donna), and John Vochek, both of Portage, PA; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Jane McClellan. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 10:30 a.m., at St. Eleanor Catholic Church, 6th Avenue & Locust Streets, Collegeville. A viewing will be held Tuesday from 7-9 p.m., at the Ruggiero Funeral Home, 224 W. Main Street, Trappe, PA. Entombment will be in St. Patrick's Mausoleum, E. Norriton.
