FARABAUGH Mrs. Farabaugh, 69, of Loretto died at 10:50 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 1992, at Altoona Hospital, following an extended illness. Arrangements by Donald J. Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville. FARABAUGH Mrs. Farabaugh, 69, of Loretto died at 10:50 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 27, 1992, at Altoona Hospital, following an extended illness. She was born Nov. 24, 1992, in Carrolltown, the daughter of Dennis and Marie (Queen) Bender. She married Clyde O. Farabaugh on June 5, 1944, in Carrolltown. Surviving are her husband, two sons: James of Waterford and Gregory of Loretto; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Also surviving are 12 brothers and sisters: Louella Gauntner of Hastings, Catherine Stock of Ebensburg RD, Elva A. Gillette and Dennis of Ebensburg, Jane Bearer, Harold and Denise Kirsch of Carrolltown, Marion Scanlon of Lock Haven, James of Loretto, Dwight of Patton, Betty Leslie of Nicktown and Ronald of Cherry Tree; four stepsisters and one stepbrother: Margaret Bender of St. Benedict and Doris Alexander, Albert Good, Eugene Good, and Herbert Good in Ohio. Mrs. Farabaugh was a member of St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Loretto, and the Altar Rosary Society of the church. She was also a member of Loretto Senior Citizens, Loretto Community Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary and Loreto American Legion Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Donald J. Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville. FARABAUGH – The funeral of Othella M. Farabaugh of Loretto will be held with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Loretto, by the Rev. Thomas Maher. Interment at church cemetery. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at DONALD J. GIBBONS FUNERAL HOME, Ashville where a liturgical wake service will be held Sunday afternoon. In lieu of flowers, please contribute to Loretto Community Volunteer Fire Company.
