Wife of Leo T. WEAKLAND Sunday, March 3, 1974, Akron Beacon Journal, Akron, Summit, OH Mrs. Blanche [SWOPE] Weakland Mrs. Blanche A. Weakland, 71, of 244 W. South st., died Friday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Herbert Bowen, of 1793 Ritchie rd., Stow, following a two – year illness. Born in Patton, Pa., Mrs. Weakland lived in the Akron area for the past 50 years and had retired six years ago from Polsky’s where she had worked 15 years. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and the St. Monica Guild. She also leaves daughters, Mrs. Mahlon Castilo, of Mogadore, and Leona of Akron; son, Leo of Mogadore; sister, Leona Dinehart of Johnstown, Pa., 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
