Why is it soooooo hard to get a simple address for a cemetery? What good are GPS coordinates when I'm try to mail a letter? How does ....located on the left side, 1.4 mile down from the barn...., help? I'm not taking about old cemeteries hidden deep in the woods either. I just had to vent, back to trying to find that dang barn. Jack, I feel your pain. Try calling the following for that city or county. I recommend calling with the calling packages offering local & long distance on same rates (or so I'm told) Local Library - always my first choice Any Funeral Home in the area Local Historical Society Parks and Recreation Department Community Development Dept City Commission City Manager If you get good results, thank them in a letter to the editor of the local newspaper. Oh yeah, you can call them too. Regards, Jane Tripp OK, you've piqued my interest. What is the name of the cemetery? What location? & don't use the word 'barn'. ----- Original Message ----- From: Jack O'Connor To: PA List Sent: Monday, October 06, 2008 6:08 PM Subject: [PACAMBRI] A little steam Why is it soooooo hard to get a simple address for a cemetery?
