Just got mine in the mail yesterday, they did a fantastic job pulling so much information together. It's great to see such a great compendium of the town my family has such a long history with and parents still reside in. BTW, from a genealogy point of view, this is a secondary or tertiary source so please check before using any of the material from this book in your family trees. The family history I provided was not portrayed accurately in the book (my fault I'm sure as some areas in my family tree are still being cleaned up and revised), so please treat all of these as general guides, not as fact. -----Original Message----- From: pacambri-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:pacambri-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Gene Sent: Wednesday, November 19, 2008 12:38 AM To: pacambri@rootsweb.com Subject: [PACAMBRI] "The Spirit of a Community" Congratulations to the Lilly-Washington Historical Society, Jim Salony, and the folks that contributed to and published "The Spirit of a Community, Dundee-Washington Township-Lilly Borough Pennsylvania, Bicentennial 1806-2006". The book is very well thought out and extremely thorough. I am looking forward to sharing it with my father and discussing the history of his hometown and the hometown of many of my ancestors.
