I do see where there are some Steele researchers listed at the PaCambria website and I do know there are those researching Platt. She was born 24 February 1926 in Bolivar, Pennsylvania, daughter of Dean and Agnes (BAIRD) Steele. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Grunza; her second husband, Charles W. Platt, Jr.; daughter, Yvonne Gurnza Boxler; brothers, Fred and Dean Steele; and sisters Ruth Dzanbik and Alice Koontz. She is survived by sons, John Grunza and wife, Linda (Single), of Gettysburg; Mark Grunza of Johnstown; Charles Platt and wife, Bridget, of Johnstown; daughters, Janet Grunza Boxler and husband Ronald, of Fayetteville, Pennsylvania; and Charlene (Platt) Stanton and husband, James, of Johnstown; grandsons, Michael, Steven, Neil, Justin, Scott, Tyler and Russell; granddaughters, Jenifer and Brittney; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. -- Johnstown Tribune Democrat, 1/3/2009 to 1/4/2009.
