    3. Anyone ever heard of Veronica Fischer. She died in 1899 at age 80 in Philadelphia, PA. She is the sponsor to Mary Fischer Baptism in Philadelphia, PA in 2 Mar 1873. I have Mary Fischer b. 21 Dec 1872, Philadlelphia, PA Parents: John Fischer and Barbara Fischer Married 30 Oct 1894, Ashville, Cambria Co., PA Spouse: John James Cawley Died: 31 Mar 1931, Ashville, Cambria Co., PA I have had contact with a Fischer/Fisher family from Baltimore, MD who are related to Veronica Fischer but don't know her relationship to our Fisher family. They have also kindly sent me a photo of Veronica Fischer made in Philadelphia, PA They did not understand why she was there and photographed there. Veronica Fischer actually died and was buried in Philadelphia, PA. That was also a surprise for them. I will be happy to share and would love to compare notes with anyone out there who has an interest in this family or those connected. Thank you, Pattie Patricia Fisher Hamill

Ferdinand Kittell The Daily Tribune, Johnstown, PA, Saturday Evening 13 FEB 1915, page 8 A. C. FISHER IS DEAD AT PATTON Special to the Tribune Patton, Feb. 13 - A. C. Fisher, one of the best-known men in Patton, died at 9 o'clock this morning following a stroke of paralysis, which came over him yesterday afternoon. He was only 49 years old. For some time he had suffered with stomach trouble and had been under treatment several times in Pittsburg hospitals. Mr. Fisher managed a Ford agency in this section for some time and previous to his experience in the auto business he was engaged in painting. He was the owner of considerable property in Patton. Mr. Fisher was connected with the Y.M.I. and the F.O.E. Besides his mother, who lives with the Gauntner family here, Mr. Fisher is survived by the following children: Mrs. Mark Kline, of Latrobe; and Cyril, Marie, Esther, Gerald, and Marguerite, all at home. He was a brother of Mrs. Ruth Gaunter, of Patton; Mrs. James Cauley, of Ashville, and Joseph Fisher, of Patton. Mass will be celebrated in St. Mary's Catholic Church, Patton, at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning and interment will be in the church cemetery. The Johnstown Tribune, Johnstown, PA, Saturday Evening, 14 FEB 1942, pg15 Mrs. Mary Fisher CRESSON--Mrs. Mary (Bishop) Fisher, 72, of Patton died last evening at the home of her brother E. C. Bishop of Cresson, where she had been visiting for some time. She was the widow of Augustine C. Fisher, whose death occurred in 1915. Mrs. Fisher leaves these children: Mrs. Mary Cline, Mrs. R. E. Woomer, and Esther Fisher, all of Detroit, Mich; Cyril and Gerald Fisher and Mrs. Telford Gill, all of Patton. She also leaves 13 grandchildren. The remains have been removed to Patton. Funeral services will be conducted at 9 o'clock Tuesday morning in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Rev. Father Bertrand McFadyen, O.S.B. will be officiate.
