This is why places like Staples will not copy a photograph taken by a professional photographer--unless is a very old one which is probably beyond copyright law. According to U.S. Copyright Law, the photographer owns the copyright, negatives, r digital files on all images shot. This is same copyright law that protects all artists and people who reate--whether they be composers, authors, watercolorists, photographers...
