    3. My gazetteer doesn't list a 'Sheridan Station' but it does list: Sheridan (v Oakhurst) at 40.358 78.945 Cambria Co. This is the only Sheridan it lists in Cambria Co. Usually 'v' means also known as. I hope this helps. It also lists a Sherwood Station in Jefferson County, but I'm assuming you want something in Cambria County. Ellen PS my gazetteer is called 'Site Find' which comes with Ani-Map -- both available on CD and easily copied to one's hard drive for instant reference. I use it frequently when I need to know in what county something is located. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sun, 31 Jul 2011 00:30:36 -0400 (EDT) From: Mary W Grove <[email protected]> Subject: [PACAMBRI] Sheridan Station To: [email protected] Message-ID: <[email protected]> Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" I am sure someone will come thru and be able to give me some information on where is? what is? what was?? Sheridan Station I am not having much luck finding it and I KNOW people on this list will be in the know. Thanks much for any help Mary

    3. Several old atlas do list Sheridan Station, but I can not seem to be able to open the web page.... But the Coal Mining pages do list Sheridan Station, Lower Yoder Twp., Cambria Co., PA http://patheoldminer.rootsweb.ancestry.com/camindexs.html Robert Jerin Link to our next Heritage Tour to Croatia May 2012 http://www.kollander.com/docs/Bob_Jerin_Trip.pdf --- On Sun, 7/31/11, Ellen <[email protected]> wrote: > From: Ellen <[email protected]> > Subject: Re: [PACAMBRI] Sheridan Station > To: [email protected] > Date: Sunday, July 31, 2011, 1:52 PM > My gazetteer doesn't list a 'Sheridan > Station' but it does list: > Sheridan (v Oakhurst) at 40.358 78.945 Cambria Co. > This is the only Sheridan it lists in Cambria Co.
