Is there anyone on this list who lives close enough to the court house in Ebensburg to check a name on the naturalization index for me? The name he used here is Peter P. Bolents, but the census has indicated spellings of Balint and many other variants. Since he was Slovak, any spelling is possible, especially since he apparently could not read or write. According to the census, he arrived in 1881 or 1882 and was naturalized in 1908. The only official date of residence here would be his marriage record in April 1885 in Clearfield County. I have already checked naturalization records in Clearfield and Centre counties. Ellen
