Friday, April 17, 1908 Volume 42, Number 16 Burial at Carrolltown The funeral of Anthony Zolner, the young brakeman who was fatally injured on the Pennsylvania Railroad at Cresson at noon Sunday, took place at Carrolltown at 9 o’clock Wednesday morning when a High mass of requiem was said at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church after which the remains were laid to rest in the church cemetery. Anthony Zolner died Monday forenoon at the Altoona Hospital and the remains were later conveyed to the home of his sister in that city. They were brought to Cresson Tuesday afternoon and later taken to the home of Michael Zollner (sic), father of the deceased at Carrolltown, where he was born and reared. Death of Winton Kuhn Winton Kuhn, a respected citizen of Reade Township, where he held quite a number of positions of trust, having been road master for a number of years, died at his home on Saturday night last, quite suddenly of apoplexy. Mr. Kuhn leaves a wife, but no children. His funeral took place on Tuesday in the cemetery of the U. B. Church of Beaver Valley of which he had been a member. His age was about fifty years.
