Friday, October 14, 1910 Volume 44, Number 40 Scott Dibert Dead Scott Dibert of Johnstown, well known through the county as a former shoe dealer and brick manufacturer, died at his home in the Seventeenth ward, Thursday morning at the age of 58 years. The funeral is to be held in Johnstown Saturday. Donald F. Kreider Donald F. Kreider, aged 17 years, son of James Kreider of Mifflintown, died last Sunday, a week having sustained a stroke of paralysis four hours previous to his demise. He had not been in good health for some time previous. Girl Burned to Death Lucy McDonald, a Barnesboro girl, aged seven years, was badly burned last Tuesday morning and as a result, her death occurred. The funeral was held yesterday. Buried in Home Town Mrs. Emma McCague Wolfe, aged 59 years, a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Michael McCague, one time residents of Ebensburg, where they were postmaster and postmistress under the administration of President Buchanan died in Bethany W. Va., Saturday. The McCagues came to Ebensburg from Lilly, this county, and Mr. McCague was soon after appointed postmaster of Ebensburg by President Buchanan and died during his term in office. President Buchanan then appointed Mrs. McCague as postmistress of Ebensburg. The post office in this place in those days stood on the lot of ground on High Street recently occupied by Mrs. R. E. Jones millinery store, being a small one story frame building. While postmistress of Ebensburg, Mrs. McCague, the mother of Mrs. Wolfe, was married to William Orr, an undertaker of Johnstown at which time the family left Ebensburg removing to Johnstown. The deceased was well known to the older citizens. Her remains reached Ebensburg Monday afternoon and were taken at once to Lloyd’s cemetery where short services were conducted by the Rev. H. Mahon of the Christian church. Mrs. Wolfe is the seventh member of the family to be buried in Lloyd’s cemetery.
