    3. Cambria Freeman, Ebensburg, Pa. Friday, October 21, 1910 Volume 44, Number 41 Gittings-Duncan At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Duncan in this place at noon Wednesday, Miss Mollie Duncan, their daughter, was united in marriage to Richard Gittings, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Gittings, also of this place. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Buell, pastor of the Ebensburg Methodist Church. Immediately after the wedding, the bride and groom departed on a honeymoon. The warmest congratulations of their many friends go with the happy young couple. Buck-Roberts Charles B. Buck, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Franck Buck of Windber, and Miss Mary L. Roberts, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Roberts of Vintondale, were united in marriage on Monday morning in the Holy Name Catholic Church in this place. Observe Anniversary With about 40 of their friends, neighbors and relatives gathered around them, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene V. Barker, formerly of Ebensburg, well known residents of Coopersdale, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at their home at 61 Church Street, Johnstown, Tuesday evening. Their guests gathered in the early part of the afternoon and from 3 until 10 o’clock the Barker home was the scene of one of the most pleasant gatherings ever held in that pretty suburb. The aged people were the recipients of many useful and handsome gifts, among which were a gold-beaded cane for Mr. Barker, a gold handled umbrella for Mrs. Barker, about $40 in gold coins, silverware, cut glass dishes and others. The wood in the cane given to Mr. Barker was part of a stick cut from the Andersonville Prison and given to Mr. Barker over twenty years ago, the gold mounting being just recently mounted by his friends. Among those who attended the reception were the Hon. A. V. Barker and daughters, Miss Helen Barker and Mrs. Frank Gates; Mr. and Mrs. F. H. Barker; Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Barker and son, Allen Barker, and Mrs. Cassie Barker, all of Ebensburg.
