I am fairly sure the original McQueeny in Hastings was married to one of Michael Nagle's [m to Lydia Helfrick, then Catherine Gray] daughters. Michael ran a hotel and the McQueeny ran the hotel after he died. I just found this obit. Johnstown Democrat McQUEENEY -- Robert, 61, Hastings, died Feb. 23, 1989, at Altoona Hospital. Retired after 22 years of service from US Army, serving both in Korea and Vietnam. Member of Hastings Post, VFW and Hastings, LOOM. Also member of Hastings United Methodist Church. Served as Hastings Borough secretary for 11 years. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Easly Funeral Home, Hastings, where service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, the Rev. David Stains, officiating. Interment, Uniontwon Cemetery. Military graveside rite by Hastings Post, VFXW. The Hastings cemetery is the "Union" Cemetery, but there is a "Uniontown" in Indiana County.
