My Hotmail account (an account used for all those companies who ask me if I can provide them with an email address, including the company I work for) was hacked a few months ago. Got an email at work telling me I was traveling and needed money to get home. By time I got home Hotmail had already discovered the hack, froze the account, and when I attempted to logon, popped up with the message my account had been hacked and the steps to regain access. And yes, I now have to change my password every three months. Were you able to contact AOL to see if there was any chance they could restore the lost emails? -----Original Message----- From: pacambri-bounces@rootsweb.com [mailto:pacambri-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of marilyn Sent: Saturday, May 04, 2013 2:37 PM To: pacambri@rootsweb.com Subject: [PACAMBRI] I was hacked--Marilyn Kline Washington Hi everyone, Recently I found all my e-mail related folders marked "The folder is empty." I stopped trying to use the e-mail, but I had a hard time finding someone reliable to try to fix it. Unfortunately, I can't get the e-mail back and my list of automatic contacts is gone, but all else seems OK. In addition, my daughter says my e-mail sent out a post saying I was stuck in Spain and needed $200 dollars. Correspondents who knew both she and I contacted her. "What is your mom doing in Spain?" I have received this sort of e-mail before about other contacts, but now it hit me!! I had no idea that this had happened, or how many of my contacts received the request. When I got this sort of post in the past, I sent an e-mail back to the person who supposedly contacted me, so they would know it had happened. Little did I know what a mess it would make. Supposedly I am protected now, but who knows? I am definitely still in PA, although I just got a renewed passport [wanna bet that is what started all this hacking?] and am planning to go to Europe to see my daughter later this summer. But be assured I would not ask any of you for money!! So, if you had anything you sent to me, or any requests for data, please resend it and I will attempt to take care of it. I am especially anxious for newly found relatives in the Knorr, Kline, Zettl, Mack, Reilly, Stoltz, Trinkly-Drenkel families to contact me again. I have found most of what they wanted in my files. Thank goodness I keep paper files, too, even though dragging them around has been a pain. It is only the most recent information that I completely lost. Through some very helpful distant relative connections I have discovered recently that the only Trinkly-Drenkel relatives with that last name, John George Trenkly-Drenkel and his family, sold their farm on Old Dutch Road in East Carroll Township, to my direct ancestor Charles Feighner and his wife, Sophia Ebig, [half-sister of John George Trinkly-Drenkel], and John George Trinkly-Drenkel moved to Kansas after the Civil War. His full-siblings, children of Berhnhardt Drenkel-Trinkley, married into the Stoltz, Hartman [John George married Sara Hartman], and Zorn-Zirn families. All the other Trinkley-Drenkel families in Cambria County MAY be related, but they were from collateral branches of the family. My descent is from John George Trinkley-Drenkel's half-siblings, the Ibig-Ebig children of his mother, Geneova [Eve or Genevieve] Schwand, and step-father, Roman Ibig-Ebig. [So far, Roman is the only member of the Ibig-Ebig family to emigrate. Recently, while reading about password security, I read what I thought was a great idea. The suggestion was to think of a phrase that you will remember and use the first letter of each word for your password. I, too, deleted the hacker's email of Marilyn being stuck in Spain, asking for $. Knew it had to be a scam. Yes it is just mean spirited. I see the Cambria County Facebook page has been hacked once or twice. Just people with nothing to do. I got the email about you being stuck in Spain. The same thing happened to a friend of mine except he was stuck in London. I knew it wasn't real because I'm the last person he would ask for money. I assumed your email was hacked and did nothing but delete it and hid under my chair. Now if it said you were stuck in Germany, then maybe ................................... As they saying goes, when in doubt go to the source. I called St. Demetrius this morning and had a great chat with the pastor, Fr. Albert Ledoux. No, he's not working on volume 6 but he is working on Civil War Veteran's in National Cemeteries. So stay tuned for that. He's the kind of guy you'd like to be stuck on a deserted island with. He knows it all. St. Patrick's cemetery is across the street from the Cambria Co. / Blair Co. in Tunnelhill, Blair Co. I'm a happy guy. There is a St. Patrick¹s Church in Newry, but if anyone is interested in the one in Gallitzin, it is located in Tunnellhill, which is the uppermost part of Gallitzin. They have renamed the church to St. Demetrius, but the cemetery is still named St. Patrick¹s as far as I know. Here is a link to it: http://www.camgenpa.com/db/cemetery/cemList.php?cem=102. Go to this link: http://www.thecatholicdirectory.com/directory.cfm?fuseaction=display_site_in fo&siteid=54826 and enlarge the map until you see St. Demetrius at the top of Church St. in Gallitzin. The cemetery is not shown on the map, but if you go to the end of Church St. and turn right onto Tunnelhill Road, you will find the cemetery located on the left side of the road on a hillside. Funerals on rainy or snowy days there were tricky and, in that area, there were lots of both! Hi everyone, I ordered some obituaries from the Cambria County Library. As it turns out, one of them wasn't the correct person. If anyone in interested in the obituary for Mrs. Elizabeth Roberts, wife of Rev. J. Dwight Roberts, I can transcribe it or mail you the paper copy. It is from the March 28, 1907 edition of the Daily Tribune. Meaghan

The cemetery shows on the Google map for Gallitzin, PA. It is close to the intersection of Tunnelhill Street and Sugar Run Road and also near the Gallitzin exit from U.S. 22.
