    1. [PACAMBRI] Hess accident on Cresson Mountain?
    2. Joyce Homan
    3. Hello, all--my mother was recently telling me a story about the children of Oliver Hess (three boys) who died when a tractor trailer hit them on Cresson Mountain. I believe this would have been in the 1950s. I'm guessing that something that big would have been on the cover of the Tribune--could anyone give me an idea for how I might go about finding it? (Sorry if I'm being clueless here. I tried to google it and didn't come up with anything.) Thanks for the help! The deceased was well known in this neighborhood, having for a long series of years been engaged in the fulling business in the eastern end of a town along with Mr. Thomas M. Jones, also deceased. We imagine his age to have been in the neighborhood of 75 years. On the same day the ashes of the wife of Mr. Timothy Davis, of Jackson township, were interred in a cemetery in that neighborhood. The bereaved husband is a brother of our townsmen, Messrs. Thos. and David Davis, and the wife of the first named was a sister of the one who had been called hence. Their maiden name was Burket.
