Louis was born in Pa. around 1875-76. I suspect around Butler. His parents were both born in PA. Birdie was born in Tennessee in 1886, but her family relocated to Butler, by 1924. I believe Louis and Birdie spent their entire adult married life in Butler. Louis and Birdie had 4 children, Effie, Emma, Elmer, and Betty. I have some information on Effie as she was my Grandmother. I haven't been successful in locating any information on parents or siblings for Louis. I have found where Birdie had 7 siblings - Harry Earnest, Elliott A., Lillian B. Francis T., William J., Moses J. and George S., but have been unable to find any information on any of them. If anyone can steer me in the right direction for some of these people, I would appreciate it. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. This obituary likely won't help you very much, but does show that Birdie married twice (compare dates to be sure it is the same Birdie. I have not been able to identify this Ryder/Rider family for my Rider genealogy, so if you locate Birdie's parents, this branch might fit for me.
