As a further followup to the recent CROW/CROWE thread, my Alexander DOUTHETT married Mary CROWE in Butler Co. about 1812. Mary was the brother of John Crow of Forward Twp. The various histories of Butler Co. give her father as Francis or William CROWE. Although he is supposed to have lived here after coming from Ireland, I find no mention of Francis in any record. Does anyone have more definitive information on Mary's father?? Jim Hazlett JHazl@aol.com
