    3. Quick question Lyn, Have you any information on George Washington being in Butler Co. and an Indian taking a shot at him? When my great uncles were still on the farm the DAR came and wanted to put a marker there. My uncles were not in agreement but finally allowed them to put it there. (They used it for a salt lick holder for the cows.) You may want to contact Dean Shakley in Parker. He has lots of stories and information. I think he is still Mayor of Parker and he and his brother take care of the Old Family Farm.
