Are you still researching the Winneal family? I have a relation Christ Winnel b. 1843 that I believe is the Christian son of Christian and Mary in Butler county. In 1870 he is living next to Lewis Winnel in Sharon, Mercer, PA. I am still trying to figure out this family. The name variations are crazy. I have not been able to find Christian and Mary in 1840. Their children are born in the 1830's in PA and unless they are living with someone or were missed they aren't there. Also, they are such a large family I'm suprised that there aren't more of them. I read the two Butler Co. history books with no mention of the family; except for, in the History of Butler County, 1895 War of Rebellion/134th Reg Co K, Lewis WINNEAL was listed as a musician.
