Do not know if there is a connection, but I have a Sarah Elizabeth Montgomery born 1790 in PA died 1855 in Buffalo Twp, Butler, PA. Her fathers name was Nathaniel Montgomery and her mother was Mary McCully. I believe that Sarah had 2 brothers and 3 sisters, but I do not have any names. He was married to Julia Kephart possibly areound 1839 and died when his youngest son was about three months old. His children's names were Henry, Barbara and David Dunbar Montgomery. I know that his youngest son grew up on a farm in Cherry Valley, Butler Co., PA. After his death his wife remarried to William Layton. I am desperate because I have hit a brick wall. So if there is anybody who might be able to help me tear down this brick wall I would greatly appreciate it.
