There is a George Brown listed for 1803 in Middlesex Township, which was a very large township at that time. There were early Brown settlers in what became Clay Township. However, I don't know of a George in that family. Have you checked the old 1895 Butler County Histories? You can find it on line on Ancestry. I hope this helps.
