The cemetery was restored by the Indiana Historical Society (2004-2005) and had a re-dedication ceremony for the Civil War veterns buried there (Private Benjamin F. Stoops, Private Charles Vansickle, Private James Vansickle, Private William Vansickle and Private William M. White). The cemetery is on the IHS list of historic cemeteries.
