Rick, Erie isn't so awfully far away. About three of your surnames marry into some of our lines. If you want to send a pedigree chart, I'll check to see if they are in the files here. A couple visited here from Iowa about a week ago. They attend an annual family reunion in the area and we try to get together for a day's research when they are here. They were working on McCurdy, McKinnis/ McGinnis and Shannon lines. I have scanning software, too, but try not to use other people's material without permission. Hi Glee, I don't break anyone's trust either, It was just an idea if the owners do not mind. I have come across some great material with the owners permission, and have seen some great stuff go by too. as for the pedigree for the McCurdy line. I only had one gg aunt who married into that surname. Abigail Byers Laskey McCurdy. born in Chicora, Pa and did reside sometime in Butler before moving to Erie, This info is so new I just found out about it on Friday of this past week. If there is anyone you know that might be able to help it would be appreciated. Also let anyone know if they need some help in the Erie or Crawford area to look me up. I do quite a bit for free, but there are some requests that are quite lengthy that I ask something for mileage or supplies. Is that fair? Personally I don't know, but no one has ever complained. Saw this post. Which McGinnis lines were these people working on? I am a McGinnis descendant. Can I get an e-mail address for the McGinnis researchers so that we might be able to share info?
