Here is the info I gained from my visit to the North Side Cemetery Today. The gentleman I met with was Mr. Olenic and he was very helpful and pleasant. He said that he doesn't mind doing some lookups, but would ask that people request lookups for a specific individual, not just a request for All persons of a certain surname. He had a funeral to prepare for and other researchers showed up unexpectedly so my time was cut very short. The lookups that were requested could not be done today. Please read below for instructions on how to get those lookups. He said that his earliest interment was 1832. The records have been kept alphabetically and include both the plot owner and the person(s) interred therein. He does the lookups and will not just let you go in and go through the books. Nor do they allow copying of these materials. If you decide to call as opposed to writing to him, you will get an answering machine and should leave a message including the name of the person you are searching for. He does not do email/internet.
