A very sad note in my Thompson line-- my full cousin Larry Dean Thompson, also a descendant of Jacob M., was killed in a car accident Apr. 23. He lived in Descanso, CA. and was a professor at San Diego State University--had recently been made chairman of his department. He was a materials scientist and a very kind man.
