Stacy.....your confusion about Brownsdale being a Twp. is understandable. It is just a counry crossroad, and the twp. line between Forward and Penn Twp. is just west of the crossroads. Your map probably shows the twp. line word right next to the word Brownsdale. There are just about a dozen houses there, and there used to be a small grocery store/ gas station. (Now closed.) Just to the east of the crossroads is the cem. I live just about 3 miles down the road. Is there something I can look up for you at the cem?
